Mass media has expanded far more than anyone had ever imagined. Who would have ever thought that a newspaper would be online, have audio, video, etc. This idea of media convergence has transformed the way we live. Instead of walking outside to grab the paper or going to the closest gas station to put in your .75 cents; we now walk to our computer and log on to our favorite newspaper site. This interactive newspaper has allowed for a better relationship with readers and writers. This relationship has helped expand the topic areas that are featured.
